Part of my Wildlife Management Program at Iron Horse Ranch is to perform Conservation Projects. Construction of North Eagle Lake evolved into a whopper! A large area of erosion is now replaced by a 2 1/2 acre lake that will catch runoff from much of my east pasture. It will also be stocked with game fish and dock for swimming will be added. North Eagle Lake will also be a magnet for deer, turkey, duck and unfortunately, feral hogs.
